The salon shifts moods with the week, as I share the space with other stylists: Mondays are generally calmer, while Tuesdays tend to get a little busier, with more hairdryers and voices joining the soundscape. There’s usually music playing – sometimes soft, at times more energetic – and it can always be adjusted!
The space is located on ground floor and is accessible via two steps.
Plenty of daylight enters the salon through two large window fronts, which also makes the interior visible from the outside. A decorative hanging lamp with multiple bulbs, indirect lighting behind the mirrors, and neutral spotlights above the workstations provide additional, even illumination.
Two mirrored walls visually enlarge the space. Five chairs for clients are positioned in front of the mirrors. Near the entrance, there is also a small waiting area with three polstered seats and a coffee table. To the right, a large mirrored structure is used as the checkout area. An all gender toilet is located at the back of the space.

Das ist ein grosser, offen gestalteter Raum, den ich gemeinsam mit weiteren Personen nutze. Montags ist es eher ruhig, dienstags wird es tendenziell etwas lebhafter, wobei sich mehr Föhngeräusche und Gespräche in die Geräuschkulisse einweben. Es läuft durchgehend Musik – mal ruhig, mal etwas energetischer – und sie kann jederzeit angepasst werden.
Der Raum befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und ist über zwei Treppenstufen zugänglich.
Durch zwei Fensterfronten fällt viel Tageslicht in den Salon. Diese machen den Innenraum auch von draussen sichtbar. Eine dekorative Hängelampe mit mehreren Glühbirnen, indirektes Licht hinter den Spiegeln sowie neutrale Spotlichter über den Arbeitsflächen leuchten den Raum zusätzlich gleichmässig und funktional aus.
Zwei verspiegelte Wände vergrössern den Raum optisch. Vor ihnen stehen fünf Stühle für Kund:innen. Beim Eingang befindet sich ausserdem ein kleiner Wartebereich mit drei Sesseln und einem Couchtisch. Auf der rechten Seite steht ein grosser, verspiegelter Korpus, der als Kassenbereich genutzt wird. Eine nicht gegenderte Toilette befindet sich im hinteren Teil des Raums.
